So Friday night was her first night in her crib, she has been taking naps in it for a long time but i have been putting off putting her in her crib mostly for selfish reasons. She slept fine but I think I woke up to every little peep i heard on the monitor (one reason I wanted to wait for a weekend so that I wouldn't feel bad about waking Joe up). The biggest challenge is that when she is still asleep she would roll on to her stomach and be frustrated so most of the times we had to get up were just to flip her back because in her sleep stupor she seems to forget how to do that. By 5:30 am we were too tired of it and gave in and just put her in her carseat for the rest of the night/morning where she slept quite contently.
The process was repeated Saturday and Sunday night as well. On Monday evening we ended up just moving her crib to our room for now for our sanity (If u know me u know that I am not a quality person when severely sleep deprived). She is doing much better now and it's funny to me how quickly she learns at this age. She still rolls over in a sleep stupor but is now remembering to turn her head which allows her to sleep/ breathe comfortably. I think that if her room were closer to ours then this would have been an easier transition but such is life. Things are going well now and she should be back in her own room soon-ish. Also for those of you wondering- that is not a normal crib bumper don't worry, it is mesh so it is not a suffocation hazard- it is basically like the sides of a pack'n'play but means she doesn't get tangled in the crib slates.
15 weeks
Proof she does have melt downs- Joe wanted a picture of her pouty face and it turned in to the below.
